thank you very much! ; v ; hmhmnnn that’s really hard question.. there are lot’s of artists in the internets that have influenced me, also Tove Jansson definitely, I admire her the most. 

But for the biggest inspiration I have to say my childhood friend, Noora. I met her when I was 6, I already liked to draw, but when I met her and she was like, super good at drawing cool dogs and dinosaurs I was sooo jealous and I wanted to be as good as her, so I started to draw a lot more. And that continued for good ten years, she was always little better at everything than me, so she kept me going.. I got influenced by her a lot. But we started to drift apart as teens, so art styles started to part too and I found my own way of art.. but I seriously owe her everything and miss her lots. ;__;

I really need to do this because I get same questions a lot, so hopefully this will make my life a little easier from now on. (But if you don’t find your answers here, feel free to ask, don’t be shy! v w v)

What programs do you use?
Mainly just SAI or Photoshop CS5.

What programs do you use for animating?
Macromedia Flash 8, Photoshop CS5 and sometimes EasyToon.

What brushes do you use?
For SAI I use mostly these:

And idk how to explain photoshop brushes, I’ve downloaded mine.. from… somewhere?? So I can’t really help with that, just download some nice brushes and experiment with them. And someone asked once about how I blend stuff and make it smooth so I did this:

yeah.. that’s pretty much how I work with photoshop.

What do you use for your traditional drawings?
I like to draw with pencils (HB->5B) and brushpen (and then there is that one mysterious pencil that I’m still not sure what it is, I’ll update this when I know what it’s called)! seriously, brushpen is a gift from gods I love it.. but for my sketchbook I mostly use just ballpoint pen because it’s cheap and won’t blur like pencils. aand I like to paint with watercolours and gouashe.
